New poem
I have my mother’s eyes
And my mother’s chin
I have my fathers face
And my fathers grin
I have a spark my own
Burning from within
Lit by light from the divine
That whispers once again
Let it be so
And may I grow
Forever
As I age
Open to love
Open to light
Dissipating
Any rage
And may this life
Grow fuller still
Beyond what I’ll contain
To overflow
And wash this soul
With light and love
Again
