I’ve been trying to listen…

They say
that if you quiet your mind,
Still your heart,
Focus intently….
That still small voice
It will speak.

So I’ve been trying to listen!

Quiet my mind-
But my brain is
Not so successful…
And my minds eye,
It’s seeing colors!
And other things!

I’ve been fighting distractions….

Searching for…
That bright light,
In the darkness…
Small voice-
In a loud
Loud symphony…

Will it speak to me?
