That in the middle of chaos and confusion

Your presence did not undo me

I had a dream last night

That in the middle of hard work

Your presence did not distract me from being happy

I had a dream last night

That I spoke to you with calm truthful words

While in the presence of those who truly know me

I had a dream last night

That you shook my hand and walked away

And the sadness I felt did not turn to grief and break me

I had a dream last night

That you were here surprisingly

And I woke up feeling secure in me

I had a dream last night

That the tides are turning within me

And hope and happiness are growing

I had a dream last night

That things are changing

And I could see myself positively

I had a dream last night

That you disappeared in the dark

And I no longer yearned you were near me

I had a dream last night

Awoke no longer suffering

I can see clearly
